… your fruitfulness comes from me - Hosea 14:8

Welcome to LivingAFruitfulLife.com — I’m so glad you’re here.

I’m Christina: a Christian wife, mom, cancer survivor, and ordinary woman who has fallen in love with God’s Word in the middle of an extraordinary journey. I live in the quiet countryside, surrounded by fields, animals, and family life, where the pace is slower but the lessons from God come fast and often unexpectedly.

My Story: From Survival to Surrender

My story is not polished or perfect—it’s real.
There was a season when life was turned upside down by cancer. Doctors, tests, treatments, and the unknown became part of my everyday vocabulary. In the middle of fear and exhaustion, God met me in a very personal way.

In the long nights, in the waiting rooms, and in the moments when I didn’t know what tomorrow would hold, Scripture became more than words on a page. It became my lifeline. Verses I had read before came alive with new depth. The Bible was no longer just a book I “should” read—it was the place where I found peace, comfort, courage, and hope.

Out of that season, God planted a deeper desire in my heart:

  • to really study His Word,

  • to look for Jesus on every page,

  • and to share what I’m learning with others who are walking through their own valleys and victories.

I am not a Bible scholar or a theologian. I’m a fellow traveler—someone being slowly, graciously, and sometimes painfully shaped by the Lord. I write as a humble servant of God who has seen firsthand that His Word holds up in the darkest seasons of life.

What You’ll Find on LivingAFruitfulLife.com

This space is where my love for Scripture, my family, my countryside life, and my testimony of God’s faithfulness all come together.

Here, you’ll find:

  • Bible-based reflections and studies
Thoughtful, Scripture-rich posts that connect everyday life to God’s Word. I love tracing how the Old and New Testaments weave together and how every story points us back to Jesus and His plan of salvation.

  • Encouragement for hard seasons
If you’re walking through illness, grief, uncertainty, or just plain exhaustion, you are not alone. I write honestly about faith in the middle of real-life struggles, not just the highlight moments.

  • Faith in family and everyday life
As a Christian mom and wife, I care deeply about weaving faith into ordinary routines—around the dinner table, in conversations with our kids, in how we handle stress, and in how we celebrate the small moments.

  • Quiet, countryside inspiration
Lessons God teaches me through donkeys braying in the pasture, sunsets over the fields, or the stillness of a slow morning often find their way into my writing. Creation has a way of echoing the heart of the Creator.

My prayer is that as you read, you don’t just hear my voice—you hear His. I want this site to be a gentle, steady reminder that God is with you, He is speaking, and His Word is alive and active in your story too.

Why “Living a Fruitful Life”?

The name of this site comes from my desire to live out passages like John 15 and the fruit of the Spirit in Galatians 5. A “fruitful” life isn’t about being busy, successful, or impressive. It’s about:

  • Abiding in Jesus

  • Letting His Word shape our thoughts and decisions

  • Allowing the Holy Spirit to grow love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control in us

If you’re longing for a faith that goes deeper than surface-level religion—a faith that touches your health, your home, your heart, and your hope—then you are in the right place.

A Note to You If You’re Struggling

If you have faced cancer, chronic illness, deep grief, or simply feel worn down by life, I want you to know this: I see you, and more importantly, God sees you.

You don’t have to show up here “put together.” You can come with your questions, your tears, and your doubts. My prayer is that the posts you read here will remind you that:

  • God does not waste your suffering.

  • His presence goes with you into hospital rooms, into sleepless nights, and into the unknown.

  • There is purpose, even in the pain, and there is hope because of Jesus.
